Let your assistants register domains and manage DNS through GoDaddy with a personal access token. Registering and DNS changes wait for your Approve. Coming soon.
GoDaddy is a domain registrar. Once you connect it, your assistants can list the domains you own, register a new one, point a domain at your site, and check names where GoDaddy allows it. Registering a domain and every DNS change stop at your Approve.
Listing your domains, and checking names where GoDaddy allows it, happen on their own.
Registering a domain always waits for your Approve. The request shows what GoDaddy charges now and for each renewal year, and names the registrant contact that will be used. A name check only says whether a name is free. Approving it also accepts GoDaddy's registration terms for that domain.
Setting DNS records or nameservers always waits for your Approve, and the request lists exactly what will change.
No Auto-approve choice in Settings skips these. See approvals.
GoDaddy opens some checks, such as whether a name is free, only to larger accounts. If GoDaddy refuses a check, the assistant tells you. Connect another registrar, such as Porkbun or Name.com, to check names, and keep GoDaddy for the domains you already have there.
Managing domains and DNS needs at least one domain in your GoDaddy account.
Just before it registers, the assistant asks GoDaddy again. If the name was taken, or GoDaddy now charges more than you approved, nothing is registered and the assistant tells you why.
To use other registrant details for one domain, reply with them before you approve. The assistant posts a new request with those details.
